For sale is a 2007 Ducati 1098 with 4,400 miles. Ten years ago this bike's performance was unparalleled as a straight from factory street legal sport bike. Still in its stock form and unmolested with very low miles,  this would make a great weekend racer or even a reliable commuter.

 

I prefer this bike on the freeway, as its performs its smoothest above 70mph, and is quite comfortable once its up to operating temperature and your settled in.

Pros - Yellow, Ducati does not currently make any yellow bikes and theres no telling when or if they will again. Center exhaust, Ducati no longer makes a tail exit exhaust system, probably due to its excessive weight and complexity, but it sure does look great. Unique deep rumble, all the power you will ever need, even looks fast standing still.

Cons - Slow traffic can be dreadful if you don't lane split. The bike doesn't like going less than 15mph without feathering the clutch and with no wind flow the exhaust turns into a seat heater. Bike is jerky when cold and the dry clutch takes some getting used to. Very slight scratch on the bottom left fairing.

Extras -

     Set of hollowed out mufflers. They sound amazing, look stock, and take less than 10 minutes to swap out but are too loud for my small neighborhood.

     Open clutch cover. show off the spinning dry clutch, but watch your shoelaces and it creates even more rattles at idle.

     Handle bar mirrors and turn signals which are almost useless but look cool.

     Leather passenger seat and foot pegs, in case your crazy enough to throw someone on the back.

     2 Keys, extra set of stock mirrors, red brake light.

     Pit Boss rear axle center stand and adaptor for $200

1/2018 4200 miles - Timing belts replaced, fuel filter and fuel thermistor (level sensor) replaced, performed oil and filter change, flushed brake and clutch fluid. 

Tires dated Oct 2015 and have 80% tread 

Front brakes at 60% Rear brakes at 50%
